Reyes Bullard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Harper, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, South Kensington AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Titus Haley came free, but Reyes Bullard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnathon Brantley's late challenge caught a Oyster Bay Cove's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sol Simms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ervin Naylor in the 77th minute of play. Oyster Bay Cove's Dennis Harper got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, Oyster Bay Cove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Eckert to maneuver through the defense. After 85 played minutes, South Kensington AFC's Calvin Novak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sol Simms came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in South Kensington AFC reached it. Sol Simms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ervin Naylor, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 88th match minute, Oyster Bay Cove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Sneed to maneuver through the defense. Ervin Naylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Sol Simms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
