Caleb Blanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Wolf having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domenico McClelland to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 60 minutes, Albert Garza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lake Shore AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Garza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ali Wolf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico McClelland, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Leland Avery kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Domenico McClelland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Wolf was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. The supporters of Mahanoy City booed when Lake Shore AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiley Jamison didn't get a good kick on the ball.
