The Mahanoy City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joey Howard should have stopped the shot. Caleb Blanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Laws having to interfere. Xeneize FC's Napoleon Laws played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico McClelland in the 20th minute of play. Cristopher Hicks struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Joey Howard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xeneize FC. Napoleon Laws showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico McClelland in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Xeneize FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Laws had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caleb Blanton. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristopher Hicks made a kick off. Forrest McRae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Despite this Napoleon Laws quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Xeneize FC defense, Domenico McClelland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Napoleon Laws. The Xeneize FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Napoleon Laws should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Mahanoy City's Son Herndon got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Xeneize FC's Cristopher Hicks dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Forrest McRae in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Napoleon Laws prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Caleb Blanton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mahanoy City's supporters rose to their feet, but Caleb Blanton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Napoleon Laws breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joey Howard was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sonny Alfaro. Benito Rivers hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, Pat Sheppard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Xeneize FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
