Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Titus Haley got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Oyster Bay Cove booed when Huntersville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. J.P. Snyder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oyster Bay Cove's Jarod Heath shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rosario Harman but with some difficulty. Dennis Harper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosario Harman having to interfere. Sol Simms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frankie Bean in the 8th minute of the match. After 10 minutes, Carlos Masters made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Oyster Bay Cove's Sol Simms tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sol Simms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Masters in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Oyster Bay Cove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarod Heath to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Oyster Bay Cove's goal looked a bit too open when Frankie Bean came free, but Sol Simms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sol Simms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frankie Bean in the 27th minute of the match. After 28 minutes, Alonso Owen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oyster Bay Cove and the Huntersville players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frankie Bean to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Frankie Bean's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sol Simms was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Sol Simms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frankie Bean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Snyder helped the player get up and apologised. If Frankie Bean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sol Simms made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Masters in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Trinidad Blair was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huntersville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oyster Bay Cove the free kick.
