The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quentin Flynn was the one to do the kick off. When Albert Garza came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Lake Shore AFC fans jumped to their feet. With a little luck, Sporting Club Llobregat's Salvatore Marin got control of the ball when Albert Garza tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Chad Costa fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Club Llobregat's protests and gave Chad Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Chad Costa hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match.
