After 6 played minutes, Manheim FC's Stanford Olson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brant Buckner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manheim FC reached it. Ezra Coffey scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Parker Sherwood, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ty Gordon kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Domenic Sexton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Brant Buckner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ellsworth North's Aurelio Peterson got a free kick in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the Manheim FC defense, Ezra Coffey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Parker Sherwood. The Manheim FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Parker Sherwood should have stopped the shot. Parker Sherwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregory Nolan in the 40th minute of the match. When Ezra Coffey came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ellsworth North fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezra Coffey couldn't finish the play. Ezra Coffey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Parker Sherwood having to interfere. Toby Ciauri hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Manheim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ezra Coffey came free, but Parker Sherwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ezra Coffey was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ty Gordon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute Wilton Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brant Buckner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brant Buckner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenic Sexton in the 87th minute of play. Domenic Sexton struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Brant Buckner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manheim FC. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ellsworth North walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
