Spectators: 6813 (Terracing: 5813, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Timothy Aviles started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 9th minute, Cristiano Domenici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, Leland Romano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Troy Reyes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th match minute, Miami City F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Ritter to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 22 minutes, Leland Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miami City F C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leland Romano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Troy Reyes came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Miami City F C's Cristiano Domenici. But to his dismay, Cristiano Domenici quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothy Aviles in the 39th minute of play forced Miami City F C's goalkeeper Mustafa Hakan Oksu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leland Romano in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Troy Reyes saved Ducks from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leland Romano to make the kick off. Leland Romano kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Miami City F C's Daron Ernst was substituted for Leland Romano. 60 minutes into the match, Timothy Aviles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mustafa Hakan Oksu. Miami City F C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timothy Aviles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Ducks's Bruce James got a free kick in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Miami City F C's zone, Garrett Chan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Hakan Oksu came out of the goal and Garrett Chan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustafa Hakan Oksu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timothy Aviles's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Miami City F C's Cristiano Domenici dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. 83 minutes into the match, Ducks's goal looked a bit too open when Daron Ernst came free, but Troy Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Howard hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Mustafa Hakan Oksu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timothy Aviles in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute Timothy Aviles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Hakan Oksu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Timothy Aviles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Ducks got a freekick which was hit by Teddy Barrett. In the 96th minute, Elvis Cermak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
