A collision led to Forever FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Chad Garrett hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Leonard Rodriquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanh Simon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Lex FC's Jon Gonzalez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thanh Simon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Maurice Helton came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Forever FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurice Helton couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the game, Forever FC's Don Reyes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marlon Camacho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jon Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wesley Schneider's late challenge caught a Forever FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wesley Schneider helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Lex FC got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Schneider. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lex FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Forever FC's Dean Chu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marlon Camacho. Marlon Camacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Reyes in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Don Reyes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Dario Grover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Dario Grover dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thanh Simon, 2-2. After 60 played minutes Lex FC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Padilla. Forever FC's Dean Chu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lex FC. Marlon Camacho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurice Helton's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Marlon Camacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Reyes in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Maurice Helton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Marlon Camacho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Leonard Rodriquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lex FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Rodriquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanh Simon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 played minutes Forever FC got a freekick which was hit by Chad Garrett. 80 minutes into the match, Forever FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Gonzalez came free, but Thanh Simon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Don Reyes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Don Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jon Gonzalez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thanh Simon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Maurice Helton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marlon Camacho having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Don Reyes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Marlon Camacho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lex FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
