Graig Mejia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnold Stoner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brent Walter having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Arnold Stoner made a precise shot to the right of Brent Walter. Kailua FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Graig Mejia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brent Walter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Stoner in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to guatemala getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tomas Ali hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Arnoldo Hargrove managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kailua FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Hargrove was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Greg Shook breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnoldo Hargrove received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Greg Shook tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 minutes, David Jarrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kailua FC and the guatemala players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Kailua FC got a freekick which was hit by David Jarrell. Jake Warren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brent Walter. Kailua FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Kailua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Whittington to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Kailua FC's zone, Tommy Hansen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brent Walter came out of the goal and Tommy Hansen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, guatemala's Greg Shook got control of the ball when Graig Mejia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in guatemala's zone, Arnoldo Hargrove stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Greg Shook came out of the goal and Arnoldo Hargrove tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th match minute, Kailua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Don Small to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnold Stoner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bryant Burrell's late challenge caught a guatemala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bryant Burrell helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of guatemala booed when Kailua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryant Burrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Graig Mejia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Dylan Whittington made a precise shot to the right of Greg Shook. guatemala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Brent Walter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnold Stoner, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Greg Shook came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Kailua FC's Arnoldo Hargrove. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Hargrove quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With 79 minutes on the clock, Jake Warren commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for guatemala! In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Kailua FC. Bryant Burrell stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Greg Shook. 3-1. Don Small was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of guatemala booed when Kailua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Don Small didn't get a good kick on the ball. Graig Mejia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greg Shook having to interfere. Kailua FC's Corey Chin got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Graig Mejia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kailua FC fully deserved thier win.
