The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Don Reyes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kailua FC's Ron Easley got a free kick in the 35th minute. Brent Walter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Kailua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Don Reyes came free, but Brent Walter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Don Reyes to make the kick off. The supporters of Forever FC booed when Kailua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Easley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Don Reyes struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Brent Walter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forever FC. Kailua FC's Brent Walter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Kailua FC from getting a goal against them. If Maurice Helton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Forever FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Hargrove came free, but Thanh Simon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chad Garrett kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Bryant Burrell sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Forever FC's Thanh Simon didn't even have to move. Arnoldo Hargrove received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Thanh Simon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Kailua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corey Chin to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Kailua FC's Dylan Whittington sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thanh Simon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Don Reyes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kailua FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
