Brent Walter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristiano Domenici went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Miami City F C's Tad Lawler got a free kick in the 13th minute. Leland Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brent Walter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Domenici in the 17th minute of play. Leland Romano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brent Walter having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Cristiano Domenici ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brent Walter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 26 minutes, Cristiano Domenici managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miami City F C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Domenici was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Cristiano Domenici made a precise shot to the right of Brent Walter. Kailua FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Cristiano Domenici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brent Walter having to interfere. Cristiano Domenici took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brent Walter. Brent Walter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Cristiano Domenici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brent Walter having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnoldo Hargrove stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Reynaldo Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miami City F C's Daron Ernst was substituted for Leland Romano. When Cristiano Domenici fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miami City F C's protests and gave Cristiano Domenici a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes Kailua FC got a freekick which was hit by Don Small. 73 minutes into the match, Kailua FC's goalkeeper Brent Walter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daron Ernst. Cristiano Domenici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daron Ernst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustafa Hakan Oksu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graig Mejia in the 83rd minute of the match. Daron Ernst struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Brent Walter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miami City F C. In the 87th minute, Cristiano Domenici got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brent Walter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Domenici in the 88th minute. Daron Ernst struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Brent Walter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miami City F C. Miami City F C played a much better game than Kailua FC and deserved their victory. The Kailua FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
