The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dallas Grove made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Pascal Kennedy sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the game, Wyckoff Torpedoes's Dominique Coleman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dallas Grove made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 18th match minute, Wyckoff Torpedoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominique Coleman to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th match minute, Thousand Oaks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graig Estrada to maneuver through the defense. In the 32ndth minute of the game Rodolfo Fuller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wyckoff Torpedoes's Brendon Reeder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brendon Reeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Fuller, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Thousand Oaks's goalkeeper Dallas Grove had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascal Kennedy. Joshua Dugan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendon Reeder having to interfere. Rodolfo Fuller took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brendon Reeder. Brendon Reeder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Franklin Padilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dallas Grove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Dominique Coleman took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Dallas Grove to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Fuller made the kick off in the second half. Brendon Reeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Dugan in the 57th minute of the match. Rodolfo Fuller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendon Reeder having to interfere. 62 minutes in the game, Joshua Dugan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Brendon Reeder having to interfere. Graig Estrada lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 66 minutes into the game, one of Thousand Oaks:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Al Bowers walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Dallas Grove showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickie Grady, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute Pascal Kennedy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dallas Grove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Wyckoff Torpedoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominique Coleman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Padilla in the 81st minute of play forced Thousand Oaks's goalkeeper Dallas Grove to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dallas Grove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominique Coleman in the 82nd minute of play. Dallas Grove didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominique Coleman went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Rodolfo Fuller scored 4-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brendon Reeder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute Pascal Kennedy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dallas Grove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Pascal Kennedy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dallas Grove was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. During the 97th minute of the match Dominique Coleman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dominique Coleman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. There was no doubt that Wyckoff Torpedoes were the better team. Wyckoff Torpedoes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
