In the 3rd minute, Jess Kohler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The C.A. Román Riquelme fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when C.A. Román Riquelme's Malcolm McGrath looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Malcolm McGrath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Joel Bernier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, C.A. Román Riquelme's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Harrell came free, but Matthew Vigil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Quazz Imperials was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jess Kohler to maneuver through the defense. In the 17thth minute of the game Malcolm McGrath who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quazz Imperials's Joel Bernier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Malcolm McGrath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Malcolm McGrath hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, C.A. Román Riquelme's Malcolm McGrath fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal, but it hit the crossbar and went out into the crowd. C.A. Román Riquelme's Alfred Fisher got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 minutes, Ezra Schmitt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quazz Imperials and the C.A. Román Riquelme players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Quazz Imperials getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ezra Schmitt hit a great ball. The supporters of C.A. Román Riquelme booed when Quazz Imperials was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryant Kyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wade Hendrickson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Bernier having to make a save. Malcolm McGrath sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Ott struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Matthew Vigil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quazz Imperials. In the 41st minute, Reynaldo Ott ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matthew Vigil was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Joel Bernier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malcolm McGrath in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Quazz Imperials's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm McGrath came free, but Joel Bernier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. Román Riquelme's Malcolm McGrath slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joel Bernier. That made the score 1-2 after 60 minutes of play. When Eduardo Cardwell fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Román Riquelme's protests and gave Eduardo Cardwell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Eduardo Cardwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matthew Vigil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Harrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Malcolm McGrath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Cardwell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quazz Imperials's Joel Bernier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Quazz Imperials from getting a goal against them. After having played for 83 minutes, Young Stanley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Román Riquelme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Young Stanley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. C.A. Román Riquelme's Malcolm McGrath got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Malcolm McGrath managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Román Riquelme's supporters rose to their feet, but Malcolm McGrath was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Bernier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Malcolm McGrath blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Bernier having to make a save. Malcolm McGraths short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Joel Bernier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 94 minutes into the match, Malcolm McGrath dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joel Bernier, 1-3. When the final whistle sounded C.A. Román Riquelme left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Quazz Imperials.
