Spectators: 6252 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 2) Duncan Sweeney started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darrell Bristol in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Koenig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 4 minutes into the game, Tommy Goff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valdez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bettendorf the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Valdez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Goff to maneuver through the defense. After 5 minutes, Duncan Sweeney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valdez and the Bettendorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bettendorf booed when Valdez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duncan Sweeney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darrell Bristol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Koenig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. When Steve McGee fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valdez's protests and gave Steve McGee a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Valdez getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Steve McGee hit a great ball. Bettendorf's Darrell Bristol got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Darrell Bristol made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Koenig. Valdez's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Valdez's Jonas Koenig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darrell Bristol in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Jon Aagaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Koenig. Valdez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jon Aagaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 24th minute, Lucas Godwin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bettendorf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Darrell Bristol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Lucas Godwin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bettendorf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 35 minutes into the match, Valdez's goal looked a bit too open when Darrell Bristol came free, but Jonas Koenig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Valdez's Tommy Goff got a free kick in the 44th minute. Jonas Koenig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darrell Bristol in the 48th minute of the match. The Valdez players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bettendorf were winning 0-4.

Valdez's Jonas Koenig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Valdez from getting a goal against them. Zachery Dailey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duncan Sweeney in the 57th minute of play. Jonas Koenig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darrell Bristol's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The goalkeeper, Jonas Koenig, was totally fooled by Bettendorf's Jon Aagaard, who 64 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jonas Koenig was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Darrell Bristol showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 68 minute of play. When Darrell Bristol came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Bettendorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darrell Bristol couldn't finish the play. Lucas Godwin took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Koenig. Jonas Koenig dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The Valdez fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bettendorf were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
