Spectators: 7847 (Terracing: 5891, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gaspard Oster started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Freddy Chappell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspard Oster struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Rufus Spicer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Savannah Striders. Octavio Peter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Rufus Spicer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Francis Willoughby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the game, Daron Strong recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rufus Spicer. Daron Strong showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 25 minutes, Francis Willoughby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pottsgrove and the Savannah Striders players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Pottsgrove got a freekick which was hit by Francis Willoughby. Savannah Striders's Henry Tormes got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rufus Spicer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gregorio German. In the 31st minute, Savannah Striders's Gaspard Oster dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. When Gregorio German came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Savannah Striders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio German couldn't finish the play. Rufus Spicer stood somewhat misplaced when Gaspard Oster came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 40 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pottsgrove's zone, Gaspard Oster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rufus Spicer came out of the goal and Gaspard Oster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Ladner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rufus Spicer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaspard Oster's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute, Lorenzo Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Daron Strong made a precise shot to the right of Rufus Spicer. Pottsgrove's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Gaspard Oster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Spicer having to interfere. When Savannah Striders's Gaspard Oster in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pottsgrove's goalie prevented a goal. After 69 played minutes Pottsgrove got a freekick which was hit by Leon Gibbons. Rufus Spicer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Tormes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Gregorio German made a precise shot to the right of Rufus Spicer. Pottsgrove's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. When Gaspard Oster came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Savannah Striders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspard Oster couldn't finish the play. Rufus Spicer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Tormes in the 81st minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, Savannah Striders's Octavio Peter made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rufus Spicer was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the match, Henry Tormes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rufus Spicer. Pottsgrove's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry Tormes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. 94 minutes into the match, Pottsgrove's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio German came free, but Rufus Spicer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspard Oster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Savannah Striders players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
