Savannah Striders's Taci Yekta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Savannah Striders from getting a goal against them. When Gaspard Oster came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Savannah Striders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspard Oster couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute, Daron Strong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Savannah Striders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Daron Strong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Savannah Striders's supporters rose to their feet, but Daron Strong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leif Dooley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Henry Tormes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Neo2s's zone, Henry Tormes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leif Dooley came out of the goal and Henry Tormes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Gaspard Oster made a precise shot to the right of Leif Dooley. Neo2s's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 22 minutes into the game, Savannah Striders's Gregorio German nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leif Dooley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspard Oster in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leif Dooley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the game, Sidney Farrar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neo2s's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Savannah Striders the free kick. The supporters of Savannah Striders booed when Neo2s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Farrar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Henry Tormes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savannah Striders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Tormes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Savannah Striders's Henry Tormes got a free kick in the 36th minute. Jamal Shipley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Taci Yekta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Savannah Striders's Gaspard Oster sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leif Dooley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leif Dooley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregorio German's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Neo2s's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gregorio German was slow to take the kick. During this time Savannah Striders's players had a chance to rest. Gaspard Oster succeeded in the game's 48th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5.

The wind increased when Gaspard Oster made the kick off in the second half. Gregorio German received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Leif Dooley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Gaspard Oster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Savannah Striders's Gaspard Oster got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leif Dooley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspard Oster, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Val Gaston tried in the game's 68th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Leif Dooley. An annoying self made goal, 0-6. Gregorio German recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute Gregorio German shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Dooley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Gaspard Oster notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Neo2s's Leif Dooley. Leif Dooley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Asher Medeiros hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Gregorio German recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Gregorio German managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savannah Striders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio German was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaspard Oster's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Leif Dooley skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 91 minutes into the match, Savannah Striders's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Farrar came free, but Taci Yekta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, one of Neo2s:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gregorio German received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Leif Dooley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Neo2s's zone, Gaspard Oster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leif Dooley came out of the goal and Gaspard Oster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Savannah Striders could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Neo2s throughout the match.
