Spectators: 6252 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Duncan Sweeney started the match with the kick off. Rebels FC's Wendell Rose got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Goff kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Duncan Sweeney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stuart Cora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Valdez's zone, Wendell Rose stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Koenig came out of the goal and Wendell Rose tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Koenig came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Rebels FC's Gregg Dawkins. But to his dismay, Gregg Dawkins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Wendell Rose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Valdez's Tommy Goff got a free kick in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto McNamara got free with Stuart Cora in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Willis Deering hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Wendell Rose scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Koenig, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bryce Rector got free with Stuart Cora in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Rebels FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zack Weller to strike the kick off in the second half. Rebels FC's Stuart Cora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryce Rector in the 55th minute of play. Duncan Sweeney took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stuart Cora. Stuart Cora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 78th minute Duncan Sweeney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stuart Cora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Koenig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wendell Rose in the 82nd minute. Jonas Koenig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zack Weller, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
