Green Victory FC's Lawrence Hardin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio German in the 6th minute of play. Green Victory FC's Lawrence Hardin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Green Victory FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Green Victory FC booed when Savannah Striders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Tormes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Savannah Striders's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Melvin came free, but Taci Yekta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Gaspard Oster lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Lawrence Hardin. In the 21st match minute, Green Victory FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Lane to maneuver through the defense. Gaspard Oster might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lawrence Hardin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspard Oster ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute, Xavier Newsome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Henry Tormes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lawrence Hardin. The goal made the score 2-0. Gaston Beliran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Lawrence Hardin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Buckley charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robin Buckley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Robin Buckley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Gregorio German managed to get in a good position for a shot. Savannah Striders's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio German was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lawrence Hardin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lawrence Hardin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspard Oster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio German might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lawrence Hardin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio German ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaston Beliran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lawrence Hardin. That made the score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaspard Oster to make the kick off. Daron Strong took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lawrence Hardin. Lawrence Hardin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Daron Strong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio German fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrence Hardin having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Gregorio German made a precise shot to the right of Lawrence Hardin. Green Victory FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Gaspard Oster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gaston Beliran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Savannah Striders's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Beliran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 67th minute, Gaspard Oster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 minutes, Ray Goodrich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Green Victory FC and the Savannah Striders players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 85 minutes, Daron Strong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savannah Striders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daron Strong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henry Tormes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Lawrence Hardin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Gaspard Oster had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lawrence Hardin. Green Victory FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaspard Oster was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 96th minute, Daron Strong made a precise shot to the right of Lawrence Hardin. Green Victory FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Savannah Striders's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
