Dean Tran charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dean Tran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Rebels FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Tran to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Santos Ladner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rebels FC's Stuart Cora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Ladner in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Rebels FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Riley Ramirez hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Santos Ladner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stuart Cora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wendell Rose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rufus Spicer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stuart Cora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francis Willoughby in the 30th minute of the match. Gregg Dawkins kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Stuart Cora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Gibbons in the 35th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Rebels FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Ladner came free, but Stuart Cora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santos Ladner to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Rebels FC's goalkeeper Stuart Cora had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Winston Dunn. If Wendell Rose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stuart Cora made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Leon Gibbons sent off a good shot on target. Stuart Cora didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leon Gibbons went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rufus Spicer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zack Weller, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Ladner in the 90th minute of play forced Rebels FC's goalkeeper Stuart Cora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Pottsgrove players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
