Spectators: 6252 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 2) Green Victory FC's Bruce Valle started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Flaherty in the 6th minute of play forced Valdez's goalkeeper Jonas Koenig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Goff kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Carlo Melvin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Valdez's Jonas Koenig didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Valdez's zone, Bruce Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Koenig came out of the goal and Bruce Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Green Victory FC's Octavio Flaherty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas Koenig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bryce Rector recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Duncan Sweeney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Victory FC's Lawrence Hardin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Octavio Flaherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Koenig having to interfere. A collision led to Valdez getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Steve McGee hit a great ball. Jonas Koenig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavio Flaherty might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Koenig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octavio Flaherty ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Goff charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tommy Goff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Valdez getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tommy Goff hit a great ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Octavio Flaherty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Green Victory FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavio Flaherty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bruce Valle came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Green Victory FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruce Valle couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duncan Sweeney stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Robert Lane fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Victory FC's protests and gave Robert Lane a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Green Victory FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Valdez:s goal. The referee gave Valdez a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. Lawrence Hardin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Goff in the 61st minute of the match. Duncan Sweeney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcellus Vaughn's late challenge caught a Valdez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcellus Vaughn helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Green Victory FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcellus Vaughn. When Duncan Sweeney came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Valdez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duncan Sweeney couldn't finish the play. Bruce Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bryce Rector in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lawrence Hardin saved Green Victory FC from getting behind. 89 minutes into the match, Green Victory FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duncan Sweeney came free, but Lawrence Hardin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Koenig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavio Flaherty in the 91st minute. Bryce Rector blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lawrence Hardin having to make a save. Green Victory FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Valdez to leave the ground with a draw.
