Nelson Pineda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Jon Shultz made a huge save. In the 6th minute, Nelson Pineda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jon Shultz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Nelson Pineda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Shultz having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Curt Finch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jon Shultz was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. The supporters of ALBEAGLES FC booed when Lodhi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Ackerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Curt Finch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute, Nelson Pineda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALBEAGLES FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Ron Dobbs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Jon Shultz managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when ALBEAGLES FC's Nelson Pineda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nelson Pineda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wes Robison kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 39 minutes, Wes Robison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lodhi FC and the ALBEAGLES FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Lodhi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wes Robison to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes ALBEAGLES FC got a freekick which was hit by Milo Engel. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind ALBEAGLES FC's goalkeeper Dan Savage, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ron Dobbs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Curt Finch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denny Acero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nelson Pineda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curt Finch in the 60th minute of play forced Lodhi FC's goalkeeper Jon Shultz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Darrel Chan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jon Shultz skillfully saved the ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Nelson Pineda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lodhi FC's Jon Shultz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ron Dobbs might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Savage. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ron Dobbs ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in ALBEAGLES FC's zone, Denny Acero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Savage came out of the goal and Denny Acero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Waldo Swenson fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lodhi FC's protests and gave Waldo Swenson a yellow card for diving instead. 74 minutes into the game, one of Lodhi FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave ALBEAGLES FC a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Darrel Chan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lodhi FC's Jon Shultz. 3-0. If Nelson Pineda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wes Robison hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Darrel Chan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jon Shultz. Lodhi FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wes Robison kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Curt Finch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jon Shultz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curt Finch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute Nelson Pineda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Shultz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ALBEAGLES FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
