Spring Hill

Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 20) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Phil Sutherland got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cameron Charles in the 5th minute of play forced Spring Hill FC's goalkeeper Quinn Peoples to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spring Hill FC's goalkeeper Quinn Peoples, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Samuel Hickman hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 27 minutes, Rudolph Madsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Weehawken and the Spring Hill FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Weehawken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolph Madsen to maneuver through the defense. Spring Hill FC's Quinn Peoples played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolph Madsen in the 28th minute of play. Cameron Charles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Weehawken booed when Spring Hill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Hickman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cameron Charles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cameron Charles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinn Peoples having to interfere.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rudolph Madsen was the one to do the kick off. Samuel Hickman charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Hickman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Samuel Hickman kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Cameron Charles came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Weehawken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cameron Charles couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, Weehawken's goal looked a bit too open when Kris McCormick came free, but Wilmer Blackwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dustin Baltazar hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Kris McCormick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spring Hill FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kris McCormick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilmer Blackwell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Spring Hill FC defense, Cameron Charles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quinn Peoples. The Spring Hill FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quinn Peoples should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Spring Hill FC booed when Weehawken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ty Colbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Antoine Bernstein shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilmer Blackwell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Weehawken getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Dustin Baltazar hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Spring Hill FC's Antoine Bernstein tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Quinn Peoples made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cameron Charles in the 77th minute. When Weehawken's Rudolph Madsen in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Wilmer Blackwell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sol Rose in the 83rd minute of play. Phil Sutherland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilmer Blackwell having to make a save. Kris McCormick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilmer Blackwell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The Weehawken players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
