Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the game, Diego Ackerman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lodhi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo the free kick. After 2 played minutes Lodhi FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Ackerman. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Ron Dobbs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Ayers came out of the goal and Ron Dobbs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerard Glover struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Jon Shultz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo. A collision led to San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Zack Sheridan hit a great ball. Lodhi FC's Gordon Grimes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for San Lorenzo. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Ron Dobbs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Ayers came out of the goal and Ron Dobbs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, San Lorenzo's Andy Ayers got control of the ball when Denny Acero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andy Ayers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ron Dobbs, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Jon Shultz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Glover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, Lodhi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wes Robison to maneuver through the defense. San Lorenzo's Odell Saunders couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lodhi FC. Andy Ayers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ron Dobbs in the 45th minute of the match. Lodhi FC's Ron Dobbs got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerard Glover to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerard Glover in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Shultz saved Lodhi FC from getting behind. Wes Robison charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wes Robison the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Ron Dobbs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andy Ayers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Luther Rowell kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Andy Ayers came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Lodhi FC's Ron Dobbs. But to his dismay, Ron Dobbs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 73rd match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rico Boudreaux to maneuver through the defense. Andy Ayers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denny Acero's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Lodhi FC's Jon Shultz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Lodhi FC from getting a goal against them. Werner Brock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's Werner Brock sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon Shultz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. San Lorenzo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
