Spectators: 7749 (Terracing: 5813, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brock Woodall kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in ALBEAGLES FC's zone, Brock Woodall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Savage came out of the goal and Brock Woodall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Brock Woodall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jim Thorpe United's supporters rose to their feet, but Brock Woodall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Savage breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Curt Finch in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Fairchild saved Jim Thorpe United from getting behind. Michael Fairchild took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxwell Street, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Savage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Reyes in the 15th minute of the match. Michael Fairchild was a little too slow when Curt Finch got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. After 29 played minutes Jim Thorpe United got a freekick which was hit by Monty Robertson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brock Woodall in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Savage prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute of the match, Curt Finch tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Michael Fairchild saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 38th minute, but Michael Fairchild got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Jim Thorpe United hanging dry this time. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Oliver McManus's late challenge caught a Jim Thorpe United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. It was a penalty for ALBEAGLES FC! 80 minutes into the match, Jim Thorpe United's Marty Reyes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dan Savage narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ALBEAGLES FC's Dan Savage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brock Woodall in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Jim Thorpe United booed when ALBEAGLES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver McManus didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the ALBEAGLES FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
