Ed Zaragoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Gary having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Jaya Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Collin Sexton came free, but Aaron Ramsdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, South Boston's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Fritz came free, but Ian Gary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norman Rosas was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind South Boston's goalkeeper Ian Gary, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kris Jordan hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Reyes Cohen charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reyes Cohen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Jaya Fc booed when South Boston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norman Rosas in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal.
