Spectators: 7711 (Terracing: 5785, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Daniel Deaton came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Croatian Fighters FC's Duane Busby. But to his dismay, Duane Busby quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Neal Vickers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abe Huber, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Croatian Fighters FC's Neal Vickers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Herrera in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenic Norman in the 23rd minute of play forced Croatian Fighters FC's goalkeeper Neal Vickers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Jonas Herrera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ladysmith fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Croatian Fighters FC's goalkeeper Neal Vickers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jimmy Judd kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Croatian Fighters FC's Benito Cermak got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Deaton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Cermak's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The Croatian Fighters FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ladysmith were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Herrera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Ladysmith defense, Benito Cermak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Deaton. The Ladysmith fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Deaton should have stopped the shot. Jonas Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neal Vickers having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Herrera in the 66th minute of play forced Croatian Fighters FC's goalkeeper Neal Vickers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Croatian Fighters FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Herrera came free, but Neal Vickers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duane Busby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Deaton having to interfere. Neal Vickers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Deaton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Cermak in the 86th minute of the match. A collision led to Ladysmith getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Adrian Stokes hit a great ball. When Duane Busby came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Croatian Fighters FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duane Busby couldn't finish the play. After having played for 89 minutes, Abe Huber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ladysmith's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abe Huber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Abe Huber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abe Huber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Neal Vickers made a huge save. Duane Busby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladysmith's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
