Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Reyes Cohen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, South Boston's goalkeeper Ian Gary had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cameron Charles. If Rudolph Madsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Rudolph Madsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weehawken's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudolph Madsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Gary breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Collin Sexton in the 18th minute of play forced Weehawken's goalkeeper Wilmer Blackwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Gary took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolph Madsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Reyes Cohen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Weehawken's Wilmer Blackwell. Wilmer Blackwell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reyes Cohen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilmer Blackwell having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, South Boston's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolph Madsen came free, but Ian Gary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Weehawken's Rudolph Madsen got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, South Boston's Ian Gary got control of the ball when Cameron Charles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ian Gary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolph Madsen in the 45th minute of play. Cameron Charles in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ian Gary, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rudolph Madsen to make the kick off. Wilmer Blackwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reyes Cohen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 played minutes Weehawken got a freekick which was hit by Deon Farrar. Reyes Cohen might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilmer Blackwell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reyes Cohen ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Collin Sexton managed to get in a good position for a shot. South Boston's supporters rose to their feet, but Collin Sexton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilmer Blackwell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. South Boston's Ian Gary played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cameron Charles in the 67th minute of play. Cameron Charles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ian Gary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian Gary took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolph Madsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by South Boston's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wesley Khan was slow to take the kick. During this time Weehawken's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Weehawken's Marvin James to fire away a dangerous shot which Ian Gary despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ian Gary took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cameron Charles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian Gary was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rudolph Madsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ian Gary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Weehawken were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of South Boston for a fine match.
