South Boston's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denny Acero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Lodhi FC's Wes Robison got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Collin Sexton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jon Shultz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Denny Acero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lodhi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denny Acero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Gary breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Collin Sexton during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes South Boston got a freekick which was hit by Collin Sexton. Ron Dobbs might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ian Gary. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ron Dobbs ran back to his position shaking his head. Conrad Ezell kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the South Boston players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lodhi FC.
