Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Graham Wynn started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Federal Way getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Odell Thurman hit a great ball. The supporters of Swan Song FC booed when Federal Way was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Gillis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Swan Song FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lawrence Willis came free, but D.J. Storr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Graham Wynn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Federal Way's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremiah Ledbetter came free, but Chris Singletary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Swan Song FC's goalkeeper D.J. Storr, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Graham Wynn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Chris Singletary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Graham Wynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federal Way's Chris Singletary played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graham Wynn in the 29th minute of play. Jeremiah Ledbetter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Chris Singletary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Jeremiah Ledbetter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swan Song FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremiah Ledbetter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Sterling Willoughby had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of D.J. Storr. Swan Song FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sterling Willoughby was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 44th minute, Swan Song FC's Carlos Dutton seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Carlos Dutton the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Swan Song FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Carlos Dutton had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Federal Way booed when Swan Song FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Dutton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Swan Song FC's D.J. Storr proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Swan Song FC from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lawrence Willis made a kick off. When Archie Starks fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Swan Song FC's protests and gave Archie Starks a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Swan Song FC's Archie Starks got a free kick in the 51st minute. Swan Song FC's D.J. Storr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sterling Willoughby in the 59th minute of play. Vern Land hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Jeremiah Ledbetter's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Chris Singletary skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, C.J. Benton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swan Song FC's supporters rose to their feet, but C.J. Benton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chris Singletary breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 65 minutes of play, Swan Song FC's C.J. Benton made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chris Singletary was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Sydney Jefferson fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Swan Song FC's protests and gave Sydney Jefferson a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sterling Willoughby in the 72nd minute of play forced Swan Song FC's goalkeeper D.J. Storr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Lawrence Willis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Federal Way's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lawrence Willis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sterling Willoughby in the 78th minute of play forced Swan Song FC's goalkeeper D.J. Storr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Sydney Jefferson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lawrence Willis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. D.J. Storr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Federal Way getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Tomas Gillis hit a great ball. After 93 minutes, Vern Land mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Federal Way and the Swan Song FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Federal Way:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Swan Song FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Chris Singletary, was totally fooled by Swan Song FC's Jeremy Brannon, who 95 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Swan Song FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
