Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jonas Holcomb kicked off to start the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Jeremiah Ledbetter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swan Song FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremiah Ledbetter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Swan Song FC's Rueben Roy threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Graham Wynn, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremiah Ledbetter got free with Rueben Roy in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Graham Wynn hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Swan Song FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Holcomb came free, but D.J. Storr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes Swan Song FC got a freekick which was hit by Sydney Jefferson. In the 17th minute Jonas Holcomb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but D.J. Storr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Holcomb in the 20th minute of play forced Swan Song FC's goalkeeper D.J. Storr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. D.J. Storr came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Seymour United's Bailey Guy. But to his dismay, Bailey Guy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rueben Roy made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Jeremiah Ledbetter sent off a good shot on target. C.J. Benton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeremiah Ledbetter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rueben Roy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Graham Wynn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Bailey Guy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. D.J. Storr was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Graham Wynn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rueben Roy having to interfere. In the 65th minute Sydney Jefferson suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Davila during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Swan Song FC booed when Seymour United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Davila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rueben Roy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremiah Ledbetter, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Jeremiah Ledbetter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bailey Guy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without D.J. Storr having to interfere. Jonas Holcomb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Heriberto Castaneda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Seymour United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
