Argentine FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cliffwood Beach FC the free kick. After 33 played minutes Argentine FC got a freekick which was hit by Dave Tinsley. Murray Hoffman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Boyce Whittington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Sterling Womack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th match minute, Cliffwood Beach FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jake Hong to maneuver through the defense. Sterling Womack struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Boyce Whittington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentine FC. In the 61st minute, Sterling Womack ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boyce Whittington was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Murray Hoffman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Argentine FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eli Leslie came free, but Chase Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes, Giovanni Gunter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cliffwood Beach FC and the Argentine FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Argentine FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Tinsley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boyce Whittington breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Argentine FC were the better team. Argentine FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
