Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adam Caballero kicked off to start the match. 14 minutes into the game, Swan Song FC's Jeremiah Ledbetter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blaine Gillespie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Blaine Gillespie came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Swan Song FC's Graham Wynn. But to his dismay, Graham Wynn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jerseyville's Tracy Cesario was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but D.J. Storr in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Jerseyville's zone, Graham Wynn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blaine Gillespie came out of the goal and Graham Wynn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jerseyville's goalkeeper Blaine Gillespie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Graham Wynn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Blaine Gillespie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeremiah Ledbetter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaine Gillespie having to interfere. Jeremiah Ledbetter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Blaine Gillespie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blaine Gillespie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graham Wynn in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Graham Wynn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Jeremiah Ledbetter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jerseyville's Blaine Gillespie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Jeremiah Ledbetter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swan Song FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremiah Ledbetter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graham Wynn in the 57th minute of play forced Jerseyville's goalkeeper Blaine Gillespie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Jerseyville getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Darius Camp hit a great ball. Blaine Gillespie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graham Wynn, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Tracy Cesario charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tracy Cesario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Jerseyville's Tracy Cesario got a free kick in the 60th minute. Graham Wynn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Blaine Gillespie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jerseyville's zone, Jeremiah Ledbetter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darius Camp's late challenge caught a Swan Song FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darius Camp helped the player get up and apologised. Jeremiah Ledbetter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blaine Gillespie having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Swan Song FC's Blaine Gillespie threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Graham Wynn, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Jerseyville's Darius Camp got a free kick in the 80th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Jeremiah Ledbetter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swan Song FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremiah Ledbetter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Derrick Whitmore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. D.J. Storr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merle Preston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without D.J. Storr having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Swan Song FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jerseyville.
