In the 20th minute of the match Nathaniel Sherman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Parker Costa skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of MONT€®®€Y booed when Schulze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Grover didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes Schulze got a freekick which was hit by Marcellus Hightower. Eli Humphrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Parker Costa having to interfere. Parker Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eli Humphrey in the 31st minute of play. Nicholas McGee who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Parker Costa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Boyce Dahlstrom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Yeats in the 39th minute of play. Raymundo Bledsoe charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raymundo Bledsoe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raymundo Bledsoe hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Ricardo Yeats spun around in front of the goal 41 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of MONT€®®€Y's goal. Ricardo Yeats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Boyce Dahlstrom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Schulze were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to MONT€®®€Y getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ricky Spivey hit a great ball. Wilfredo Reese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Boyce Dahlstrom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Reese recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boyce Dahlstrom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Yeats, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. A hard shot 70 in the game by Wilfredo Reese from a close distance when the talented Boyce Dahlstrom managed to make a qualified save. MONT€®®€Y's players were relieved. After 72 minutes, Ricardo Yeats mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schulze and the MONT€®®€Y players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Eli Humphrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Schulze played a much better game than MONT€®®€Y and deserved their victory. The MONT€®®€Y players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
