Boyce Whittington came out of the goal and Raymundo Bledsoe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boyce Dahlstrom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eli Leslie in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, MONT€®®€Y's goal looked a bit too open when Eli Leslie came free, but Boyce Dahlstrom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes MONT€®®€Y got a freekick which was hit by Raymundo Bledsoe. Jerold Lockhart struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Boyce Dahlstrom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cliffwood Beach FC. 33 minutes into the match, Nicholas McGee notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cliffwood Beach FC's Boyce Whittington. Boyce Whittington was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eli Humphrey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nicholas McGee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 48th minute, Raymundo Bledsoe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eli Leslie to strike the kick off in the second half. Boyce Dahlstrom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eli Leslie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boyce Dahlstrom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eli Leslie, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Nicholas McGee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyce Whittington having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, MONT€®®€Y's Nicholas McGee nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boyce Whittington made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas McGee in the 78th minute of play forced Cliffwood Beach FC's goalkeeper Boyce Whittington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Eli Leslie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cliffwood Beach FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eli Leslie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boyce Dahlstrom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jerold Lockhart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyce Dahlstrom having to interfere. MONT€®®€Y's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Eli Leslie scored to the left of an out of position Boyce Dahlstrom, making the score, 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerold Lockhart got free with Boyce Dahlstrom in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute, Jerold Lockhart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind MONT€®®€Y's goalkeeper Boyce Dahlstrom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 2-3 became the score in the 98th minute when Eli Leslie elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cliffwood Beach FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
