Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nicky Neal kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ed Galloway in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zane Dickens saved Houston FC from getting behind. In the 13th minute, Ed Galloway made a precise shot to the right of Zane Dickens. Houston FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Freddie McNamara notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tuscon FC's Sterling Keene. Sterling Keene was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zane Dickens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ed Galloway went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Zane Dickens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Cavazos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zane Dickens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Waller in the 31st minute of the match. After 33 minutes of play, Tuscon FC's Neil Rodriguez made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zane Dickens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zane Dickens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ed Galloway, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th match minute, Houston FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicky Neal to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Alfredo Cavazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zane Dickens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Ed Galloway made the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Cavazos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zane Dickens having to interfere. After having played for 54 minutes, Nicky Neal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Houston FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicky Neal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie McNamara in the 56th minute of play forced Tuscon FC's goalkeeper Sterling Keene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sterling Keene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie McNamara in the 57th minute of the match. Nicky Neal took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sterling Keene. Sterling Keene dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 62nd minute Felipe Waller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zane Dickens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Ed Galloway notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Houston FC's Zane Dickens. Zane Dickens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zane Dickens made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Ed Galloway sent off a good shot on target. Zane Dickens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ed Galloway, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Ed Galloway notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Houston FC's Zane Dickens. Zane Dickens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zane Dickens was a little too slow when Felipe Waller got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 2-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Tuscon FC's Neil Rodriguez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zane Dickens. That made the score 2-7 after 89 minutes of play. 92 minutes into the match, Houston FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ed Galloway came free, but Zane Dickens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ed Galloways short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Zane Dickens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match was over Tuscon FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Houston FC throughout the match.
