Stewart Carson took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dwight Scales. Dwight Scales dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 27th minute, Jacques Abrams got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Garret Crocker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacques Abrams in the 29th minute of play. Dwight Scales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Ford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Ford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Dwight Scales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steven Small fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dwight Scales having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Steven Small managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCM FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Small was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Real Angels's Dwight Scales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Ford in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Ford made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Scotty Bonner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Angels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Scotty Bonner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FCM FC's Stewart Carson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Chris Goins, made in the 57th minute of the game. Dwight Scales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Ford in the 61st minute of the match. When George Ford came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the FCM FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Ford couldn't finish the play. After 69 minutes of play, FCM FC's Jayson Goff made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dwight Scales was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Steven Small came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the FCM FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steven Small couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that George Ford's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dwight Scales was relentless in the 75th minute of the game.
