Ernie Crocker was left in no man's land by his defense there! 34 minutes into the match, Neil Rodriguez notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of West Hills FC's Ernie Crocker. Ernie Crocker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 37 minutes of play, Tuscon FC's Neil Rodriguez made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernie Crocker was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernie Crocker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th match minute, West Hills FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Houser to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of West Hills FC booed when Tuscon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rich Durham didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Tuscon FC defense, Luther Metzger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sterling Keene. The Tuscon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sterling Keene should have stopped the shot. Ed Galloway fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernie Crocker having to interfere. When the match was over Tuscon FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than West Hills FC throughout the match.
