In the 10th minute of the match, Alonzo Friedman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Willy Temple saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Markus Grubb who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Willy Temple when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Young Fowler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Friedman in the 27th minute of play forced Mishawaka's goalkeeper Willy Temple to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Young Fowler kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Alonzo Friedman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Willy Temple tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Olin Mendoza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Mishawaka's Bryant Hodge got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Saks's Alonzo Friedman in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mishawaka's goalie prevented a goal. After 37 played minutes Mishawaka got a freekick which was hit by Young Fowler. Willy Temple showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Friedman in the 38th minute of the match. After 39 minutes, Bryant Hodge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mishawaka and the Saks players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Mishawaka's zone, Alonzo Friedman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willy Temple came out of the goal and Alonzo Friedman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andre Avila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Fernandez having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Saks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jackson Nelson to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andre Avila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgardo Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Avila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mishawaka's Willy Temple played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Friedman in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Saks's Alonzo Friedman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willy Temple made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Mishawaka's Bryant Hodge got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 62 played minutes Mishawaka got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Peterson. Andre Avila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Christie hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Markus Grubb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Temple having to interfere. Willy Temple stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Markus Grubb's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Alonzo Friedman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Willy Temple tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bryant Hodge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Saks players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
