In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valparaiso C.F.'s goalkeeper Bo Gallagher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Manya Porongo's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Mattson came free, but Ulysses Albright reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Ernesto Rutherford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Manya Porongo! Brant Galloway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bo Gallagher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Valparaiso C.F.'s zone, Monte Taylor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo Gallagher came out of the goal and Monte Taylor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Valparaiso C.F.'s Hunter Ricks got a free kick in the 30th minute. Manya Porongo's Ulysses Albright played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luther Wolfe in the 33rd minute of play. When Ernesto Rutherford came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Manya Porongo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Rutherford couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brant Galloway got free with Bo Gallagher in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmund Mattson kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Brant Galloway's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bo Gallagher was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. 43 minutes into the match, Manya Porongo's goal looked a bit too open when Jerold Jarvis came free, but Ulysses Albright reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Valparaiso C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerold Jarvis to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zachery Noel during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
