Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mitch McCoy didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 7th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Pink Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Friedman came free, but Mitch McCoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Merrill Dale hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Mitch McCoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Friedman in the 21st minute of play. Mitch McCoy made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Markus Grubb sent off a good shot on target. Nicholas Eckert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Markus Grubb managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saks's supporters rose to their feet, but Markus Grubb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mitch McCoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Friedman in the 32nd minute of play forced Pink Boys's goalkeeper Mitch McCoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Pink Boys's Dwight Healy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Fernandez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alonzo Friedman made a kick off. Alonzo Friedman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mitch McCoy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Junior Yeats's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgardo Fernandez was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Pink Boys's Mitch McCoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Friedman in the 63rd minute of play. Mitch McCoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Friedman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Nicholas Eckert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgardo Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Pink Boys getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Nicholas Eckert hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dwight Healy in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgardo Fernandez saved Saks from getting behind. Albert Singer kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Dwight Healy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Edgardo Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
