In the 12th minute Aurelio Zepeda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Gallagher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bo Gallagher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Zepeda, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Aurelio Zepeda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Gallagher having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Primitivo Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginald Castaneda to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Football Club's Aurelio Zepeda got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Luther Wolfe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jerold Jarvis came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gerardo Goff could save by the left post. Bo Gallagher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Zepeda in the 39th minute of the match. After 40 minutes, Hunter Ricks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valparaiso C.F. and the Primitivo Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Valparaiso C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Hunter Ricks. Valparaiso C.F.'s Luther Wolfe got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luther Wolfe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Primitivo Football Club's Fernando Collier got a free kick in the 51st minute. Gerardo Goff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luther Wolfe, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Valparaiso C.F.'s Luther Wolfe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerardo Goff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Valparaiso C.F. booed when Primitivo Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grant Malone didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Valparaiso C.F.'s Karl Rowley tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Leonardo Cronin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Hunter Ricks was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. A collision led to Valparaiso C.F. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Hunter Ricks hit a great ball. Bo Gallagher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Cronin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bo Gallagher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Cronin in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Valparaiso C.F. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Luther Wolfe hit a great ball. Grant Malone's late challenge caught a Valparaiso C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grant Malone helped the player get up and apologised. Grant Malone kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Leonardo Cronin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Gallagher having to interfere. Edmund Mattson struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Gerardo Goff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valparaiso C.F.. 83 minutes into the match, Valparaiso C.F.'s Jerold Jarvis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerardo Goff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aurelio Zepeda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute of the match Lucien Allison shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerardo Goff showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fernando Collier hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Valparaiso C.F. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Primitivo Football Club had controlled the match.
