Bo Engel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Conklin in the 9th minute of play forced Ft.Lauderdale Boas's goalkeeper D.J. Sullivan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denny Pollard during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 10 minutes into the game, one of Chandler AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Miles Shoemaker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ft.Lauderdale Boas's supporters rose to their feet, but Miles Shoemaker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bo Engel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octavio Egan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but D.J. Sullivan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Werner Hunter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. D.J. Sullivan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Conklin in the 20th minute of the match. Bo Engel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitchell Archer in the 24th minute of play. D.J. Sullivan came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Chandler AFC's Octavio Egan. But to his dismay, Octavio Egan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ft.Lauderdale Boas's D.J. Sullivan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Conklin in the 33rd minute of play. Octavio Egan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without D.J. Sullivan having to interfere. The supporters of Ft.Lauderdale Boas booed when Chandler AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Conklin didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miles Shoemaker in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bo Engel saved Chandler AFC from getting behind. Chandler AFC's Bo Engel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miles Shoemaker in the 39th minute of play. Abraham McMillian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bo Engel having to make a save. Miles Shoemaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Woody Walter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Engel having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Woody Walter was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Ft.Lauderdale Boas's Woody Walter made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bo Engel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bo Engel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miles Shoemaker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Chandler AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Miles Shoemaker came free, but Bo Engel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Woody Walter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Chandler AFC defense, Miles Shoemaker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bo Engel. The Chandler AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bo Engel should have stopped the shot. Woody Walter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Abraham McMillian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Miles Shoemaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chandler AFC's zone, Woody Walter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo Engel came out of the goal and Woody Walter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ft.Lauderdale Boas getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Miles Shoemaker hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Mario Conklin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but D.J. Sullivan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chandler AFC's Bo Engel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Woody Walter in the 83rd minute of play. After 86 played minutes Chandler AFC got a freekick which was hit by Richie Contreras. When Woody Walter came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Ft.Lauderdale Boas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Woody Walter couldn't finish the play. D.J. Sullivan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mario Conklin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 91 minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Chandler AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Contreras to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ft.Lauderdale Boas had played much better football throughout.
