The supporters of Cumberland Hill AFC booed when Chandler AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Campbell didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Cumberland Hill AFC's Theron Nichols nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bo Engel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 77th minute of the match Denny Pollard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but German Samuels skillfully saved the ball. When the match was over Cumberland Hill AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chandler AFC throughout the match.
