With a little luck, Bostonia FC's Russ Voss got control of the ball when Emilio Bland tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adam Barber's late challenge caught a Warriors FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Barber helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bostonia FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Adam Barber hit a great ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Warriors FC's Art Diamond in the 10th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Russ Voss was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Bostonia FC through an amazing save. In the 12th minute, Warriors FC's Art Diamond ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Russ Voss. Russ Voss yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Art Diamond dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Russ Voss, 2-0. In the 18th match minute, Bostonia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Maurer to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 21 minutes, Art Diamond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warriors FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Art Diamond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Bostonia FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Allen McClelland hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bostonia FC's zone, Art Diamond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Russ Voss came out of the goal and Art Diamond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilio Bland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Art Diamond had several of the Bostonia FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Russ Voss as he didn't even see the shot coming. Art Diamond scored 4-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Russ Voss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Russ Voss was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Art Diamond capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Art Diamond really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The wind increased when Mason Farley made the kick off in the second half. Emilio Bland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Russ Voss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Emilio Bland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Russ Voss was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Julio Sears received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Russ Voss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Art Diamond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute of the match Kent Marion shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Russ Voss showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bostonia FC's Russ Voss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Art Diamond in the 65th minute of play. Terrance Ferguson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Russ Voss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Bland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Art Diamond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Houston Lowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Bostonia FC defense, Emilio Bland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Russ Voss. The Bostonia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Russ Voss should have stopped the shot. After 79 played minutes Bostonia FC got a freekick which was hit by Kirby Root. Terrance Ferguson shot a long shot in the 81st minute and a light blocked Russ Voss hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 8-0. Houston Lowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russ Voss having to interfere. Emilio Bland struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Russ Voss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warriors FC. 91 minutes into the match, Bostonia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Bland came free, but Russ Voss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Houston Lowe in the 92nd minute of play forced Bostonia FC's goalkeeper Russ Voss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Warriors FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
