Spectators: 7675 (Terracing: 5798, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mario Conklin started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Chandler AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Denny Pollard hit a great ball. After 5 played minutes, Corazón Unido's Terrence Huston shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bo Engel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Corazón Unido reached it. After 7 played minutes Corazón Unido got a freekick which was hit by Terrence Huston. In the 8th minute of the match Denny Pollard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evan McCloud showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aidan Montgomery struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Bo Engel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corazón Unido. Bo Engel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Vance in the 15th minute of play. Jefferson Vance sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Conklin in the 22nd minute of play forced Corazón Unido's goalkeeper Evan McCloud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jefferson Vance fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Engel having to interfere. Jefferson Vance sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jefferson Vance had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Conklin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Evan McCloud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, one of Corazón Unido:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Corazón Unido. Denny Pollard shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After a rather tough play, Chandler AFC's Mario Conklin got a free kick in the 49th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

If Aidan Montgomery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chandler AFC's zone, Aidan Montgomery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo Engel came out of the goal and Aidan Montgomery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62ndth minute of the game Aidan Montgomery who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chandler AFC's Bo Engel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jefferson Vance sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Sizemore in the 71st minute of play forced Chandler AFC's goalkeeper Bo Engel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rich Norris during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chandler AFC's Rich Norris got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Bo Engel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aidan Montgomery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jefferson Vance recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corazón Unido's Aidan Montgomery got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danny Becerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Engel having to interfere. If Aidan Montgomery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corazón Unido's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
