The goalkeeper, Tristan McKinney, was totally fooled by La Scaloneta FC's Ken Ibarra, who 33 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 36 minutes into the match, Romania junior's goal looked a bit too open when Tyson Walton came free, but Tristan McKinney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Scaloneta FC's Alberto Tracy got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Emerson Rainey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tyson Walton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, La Scaloneta FC's Alfonzo Mattson got control of the ball when Benny Stockton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Tracy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tristan McKinney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyson Walton in the 79th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Romania junior fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! The referee gave La Scaloneta FC a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ken Ibarra, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Romania junior's Tristan McKinney. 2-0. Romania junior's Tristan McKinney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyson Walton in the 92nd minute of play. Jonathon Foreman's late challenge caught a Romania junior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
