Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 0) In the 2ndth minute of the game Cedric Bearden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Philadelphia AFC's Reyes Zuniga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Philadelphia AFC's zone, Cedric Bearden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reyes Zuniga came out of the goal and Cedric Bearden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DeMarcus McCarthy made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Shayne Espinoza sent off a good shot on target. After 14 played minutes Atletico Texcali got a freekick which was hit by Calvin Worley. In the 19th minute, Cedric Bearden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Texcali fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Reyes Zuniga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cedric Bearden in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darrel Hogue during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Atletico Texcali's Silas McPherson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Philadelphia AFC. Errol Lynch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reyes Zuniga having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, Atletico Texcali's Cedric Bearden made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reyes Zuniga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Atletico Texcali's DeMarcus McCarthy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Texcali from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the game, C.J. McNally was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Texcali's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Philadelphia AFC the free kick. The supporters of Philadelphia AFC booed when Atletico Texcali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. C.J. McNally didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reyes Zuniga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Errol Lynch went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Philadelphia AFC's Reyes Zuniga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cedric Bearden in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Atletico Texcali were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

DeMarcus McCarthy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shayne Espinoza, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Reynaldo Henderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. DeMarcus McCarthy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Atletico Texcali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deshawn Samuels to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Philadelphia AFC's Reyes Zuniga got control of the ball when Errol Lynch tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 62 played minutes Philadelphia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Darrel Hogue. 71 minutes into the match, Philadelphia AFC's goalkeeper Reyes Zuniga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Errol Lynch. Errol Lynch struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Reyes Zuniga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Texcali. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cedric Bearden in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reyes Zuniga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Shayne Espinoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without DeMarcus McCarthy having to interfere. In the 85thth minute of the game Cedric Bearden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Philadelphia AFC's Reyes Zuniga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Atletico Texcali's Deshawn Samuels got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, Calvin Worley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Atletico Texcali's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Henderson came free, but DeMarcus McCarthy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DeMarcus McCarthy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shayne Espinoza in the 95th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atletico Texcali's C.J. McNally got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the match was over Atletico Texcali could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Philadelphia AFC throughout the match.
