The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 32nd minute Thaddeus Soto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robby Barbour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Woodrow Gibson struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Tristan McKinney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coolidge. Ted Gipson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan McKinney having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thaddeus Soto to make the kick off. Benny Stockton struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Robby Barbour didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romania junior. Benny Stockton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Robby Barbour made a huge save. Thaddeus Soto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robby Barbour read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Benny Stockton struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Robby Barbour didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romania junior. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Coolidge fans cheered their team off the field, for while Romania junior had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
