Philadelphia AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tracy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 37thth minute of the game Tyson Walton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Philadelphia AFC's Reyes Zuniga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Shayne Espinoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sherwood Rangel came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the La Scaloneta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sherwood Rangel couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Reynaldo Henderson made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of La Scaloneta FC booed when Philadelphia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donovan Herman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donovan Herman's late challenge caught a La Scaloneta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Scaloneta FC reached it. Reynaldo Henderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonzo Mattson having to interfere.
