Philadelphia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Henderson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Len Denton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Henderson came free, but Len Denton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Andreas Sheets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reyes Zuniga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Len Denton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cory Francis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Reyes Zuniga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Reyes Zuniga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cory Francis in the 69th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Reyes Zuniga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Darrel Hogue's late challenge caught a FC Barcelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darrel Hogue helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Philadelphia AFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Darrel Hogue hit a great ball. FC Barcelona's Gilberto Good was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Reyes Zuniga in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Shayne Espinoza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Sheets's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reyes Zuniga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. After 93 played minutes Philadelphia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Donovan Herman. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Philadelphia AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilberto Good was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Barcelona's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Gilberto Good got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Reyes Zuniga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 98 minutes into the match, Philadelphia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Sheets came free, but Reyes Zuniga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
